I'd welcome a PS4 title

Maybe they pushed the reveal forward for Japan, would be weird to reveal a Level 5 game at E3

Actually they might have 2 PS4 exclusives. I'm thinking the collab is Ni No Kuni or Yokai with Sony and the other game is Dragon Quest.

I'm seriously thinking they're going to reveal their PS4 game this event.

...maybe a new Dark Cloud? Perhaps..?

Hopefully their PS4 game is revealed. I really don't want to wait until E3 for that.

Can we expect something exiting like a PS4 game? Or will they just announce 3DS/mobile games?

It really doubt it could be dragon quest 11.

Judging by the 3DS install base notably in Japan, by how well DQ8 sold on DS worldwilde, it would be most logical, commercially speaking, that they release Dragon Quest 11 on 3DS instead of taking gamble on a console version.

But let's not forget that Ni no Kuni is basically a Dragon Quest westernized clone (not in a bad way). So they can still sell a "Dragon Quest" type game on PS4 like they did on PS3.

Fantasy life 2 has my interest. The first was quite good, just had a lot of areas that could tell could/would be improed the second time around.

They already said DQXI is in development for home consoles: http://www.siliconera.com/2014/06/12/dragon-quest-xi-development-will-made-home-consoles/

This reminded me I've still got a sealed copy of Fantasy Life lying around.

I find it a really surprising decision except if:

- it's a multiplatform game

- One of the 3 hardware company gave a lot of money to buy the (timed or not) exclusivity.

cross media means multiplatform, right?
