You are reaching here on what I'm saying.
Sales naturally don't matter in terms of making a game any less of a game, but as a Playstation fan, the more systems are sold, the more software is bought and the more people who sign up for ps+, the more money it brings in to create more games.
Holiday period is when systems sell the most. Last holiday the X1 sold tons sure to many profile releases (and a price cut). if Sony lose out on sakes sales due to lack of big games pushing the system at a critical time of the year, it will have some effect on overall console and software sales, which in return will have an affect in on revenue.
Uncharted was the big blockbuster than many people may have bought the system for and now the is nothing releasing that we know of as of yet that will be able to make up for that push.
I'm interested pretty strongly in these. Many of those I hadn't heard of so they may appeal to me I just I haven't seen anything for them yet. Good to know I'll be getting many free lol. Can't wait to try out Driveclub+ this year also. My Christmas list will now have Zelda and Ratchet instead of Uncharted and Ratchet is the only difference. Now Sony will have a nice AAA to balance out Scalebound or Crackdown if either of those make Spring. Good to know, with Sony's quick turnaround on games like Bloodborne and LBP3 that we could have another one coming this year or in the first 1/4 of next year for AAA exclusives.
No U4 this year is disappointing, but it shouldn't be a big issue for anyone but console warriors. I mean, we're still gonna get U4 eventually, and it's not like there's a shortage of interesting 1st-3rd party games coming out in 2015.
(And if none of the 2015 1st-3rd party titles interest you, what exactly were you planning to play this year? U4 wasn't even supposed to come out until November...)

So you're looking down at games because of their name? LMAO!
Fat Princess was an awesome game.
It seems some people don't know what the word exclusive means.
Doesn't help that half of these games are incredibly niche.

@ bold - I've never heard about it before... After a quick google search, 2 things come to mind. That feminist people will have a field day. 2nd will this have a one hand gameplay mode?
Joking aside, I'm not bothered by this personally, exampl: haven't play gta5 yet, as you can see, I'm behind, trying to keep up is hard, also MGS V is coming. On a business perspective, this is not ideal for sony, but its better to draw conclusions after E3, this is too early.
Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4
just give me Bloddborne, Tearaway Unfolded, Persona 5 and I'd be set on the exclusive front
Wild and No man's Sky are indie, but huge. Maybe No Man's Sky in paticular will get a boxed release.
However, most people will still demand AAA. Is Until Dawn AAA?
PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One

How does he use it wrong? The games that aren't fully exclusive do have there qualifiers listed with them.
As for niche, it seems some complain that the AAA is all the same then others complain about things that are different.
The only issue I really see is that many of them don't have a strong release date, and very well might not even come out this year.
