Forums - Sony - Uncharted 4 will not make it for 2015

Well at least now, this Fall's Vita exclusive line up is as good as the PS4's.

I'm obviously kidding. Relax.

I was ready to kill you. You went too far with that comment. Seriously dude, calm down.

Reported.

Unsuscribed.

Thrown to the pit of eternal oblivion.

Die.

I'm not kidding.

That is a blatant lie. Bloodborne can still be delayed to the holidays and then to next year.

Feels good to not care about Uncharted *coolguy*
I'll still be playing HDNVII, Disgaea 5 and Persona 5 like I always was going to.
Maybe we'll even get a western port of DQH in time for this year.

nah, the best is to enjoy Japanese + Western games, i was going to enjoy all of those games plus Uncharted this year, and now well... only those 3... which is still a lot of games at the end of the year and makes me not really feel any pain seeing U4 go to 2016, but the problem here is that Sony doesnt have a big heavy hitter to counter Halo 5 and Zelda, (which is kind of sad because Persona has the quality to compete with those games but not the popularity, which makes me repeat something ive said before which is: Sony NEEDS to advertise their japanese exclusives more).

I am very disappointed in Sony's 1st party this generation.

They've actually been doing a far better job this generation than people give them credit for. Their games have been decent so far, just nothing mind blowing like what we'll see from towards the second half of this gen. Reviewers have just been tearing their games apart because PS4 being the top dog somehow warrants the douchebag hipster mentallity of "Oh it's mainstream and popular? We have to find an excuse as to why it sucks so we can feel unique with our opinions!" Meanwhile, Screamride gets praised... Smh...

Plus, you gotta think that with each generation comes longer development cycles. If you want the best games for your console nowadays, you gotta wait.

I googled a little, and PC doesn't seem to offer Uncharted 4.

It offers free online, backwards compatibility, nearly all the games on the ps4 to be played in better resolution etc.

For 500 - 600 you have a decent rig to play better than on ps4 with free online and cheaper games. But for a few games is better to defend how sony is peeing on their customer's mouths offering a mediocre online service (and they have the balls to charge for it) and charging 60 - 70 bucks for new games.

Keep defending that and they will go further each console gen inventing new ways to rip people off.

You seem well informed. Please tell me how to get Windows 95 games to work on Windows 7 I tried axis and allies recently but it wouldn't work and from what I found while looking online in don't see a solution, if you have some suggestions please let me know. I found many of my old games recently and I would like to be able to play them again.

I'm not defending anything. I don't own a PS4. But games sell hardware. No one cares about any of that if PC doesn't have the games people want.

So right. No Uncharted 4? No sale. Let them eat cake? Let them drink piss. That's all there is to it.

Screamride has a 71 meta. You might want to pick something better that fits your agenda.

Not at all. You seem to think that all elements of a game are created in series, but they are not. They're done in parallel. Different groups of people, doing different things, combining it all at the end to complete a whole.

The logic is that they could expand the single player team and help finish the game earlier.

I knew you'd say something like that. But let me illustrate something:

When you're moving a grand piano, 4 to 6 persons lifting and moving it is good. But if you try to do it with more people than that, you end up stepping on each other's toes and the job doesn't get done faster.  Worse, than are even more risk of injuries because movements are more restricted due to the amount of people around the piano.

The same applies to any team work. I'm sure ND know what they are doing. They've expanded their studio quite a lot over the last few years. I don't think the amount of people working on each aspect of the game is a problem.

Funny you should mention this. Didn't Cerny say the development cycles would be shortened at the Playstation 4 reveal?

Other than that, you are just guessing. I don't want to give them credit just because I am a Sony fan boy, I will give them credit once they deliver some good games. So far their smaller "indie" like titles like Resogun and Helldivers have been far better than their AAA titles.

Lol, why is everyone acting like this one game is the only thing Sony has? Aren't we ignoring the fact that Sony has a lot more games than its competition? Drawn to Death, Until Dawn, Everyone's Gone to the Rapture, Rime, Persona 5, FFX, Disgea 5, Rachet and Clank, and a metric shit ton of other games are all coming out this year. Everything might not come out in November, but thats not the only time I play games. Also, with Street Fighter 5 coming in Spring 2016, next year is looking great as well.

yeah its kind of sad, i know i will be enjoying Persona 5, Disgaea 5 and Neptunia Victory II, and the thing is some of those games (like Persona 5) have the quality to compete with Uncharted or any other big game out there but they arent as popular since they are anime games.
