I highly doubt Zelda won't beat it cause there hasn't been a Nintendo game yet that has been overhyped this generation in terms of metacritic and Xenoblade will as well

I would be quite surprised if either Zelda or Xeno end up with a meta under 90. I'm also confident that Bloodborne will knock your prediction out early.

Yes the problem is that ratings are just horrible these days. Halo MCC was getting 8's when the game was completely broken. So being the highest rated game means well nothing to me.

I really think that considering Oni is currently at 89 that this prediction will fail. Certainly I'm biased towards the Zelda franchise, but I don't see how it ends up with a meta below 93. This will be the first true HD Zelda title we've ever seen. The game will be massive and if there are faults (not enough to do, breaking conventions, cell shaded) they will be more than compensated for by the crisp detail in the animations and the amazing gameplay. The only way I see your prediction coming true is if Zelda slips sadly into 2016. The bigger question, though, is whether this extremely high metascore results in equally high sales for a game seemingly birthed on the wrong console.

Eh, I am pretty sure it will be xenoblade or Zelda this year... If they come out this year... No mans sky might have a chance as well...
