I have a question.
1. Will it ever allow a 2 player setup. i.e. 2 morpheus connected to one ps4 for co-op play. (This would be so amazing)
if not, it could hurt any sports games being made for it.

Well Oculus is supposed to be between $200-$400 depending on a few things but they are targetting in that range so if Morpheus costs more than that, it won't have a very good time. Even $400 is too much for Oculus imo so hopefully, both will be $300 or less |
Oculus is pc only and Morpheus is ps4 only i don't see how one will affect the other
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
It's not gonna be cheap but over time it will, to the point they'll start bundling both. I bet on $199 with Sony taking some loss on it.
I think it's going to be the most successful VR headset, this thing will be on every PS4 demo kiosk in every game store unlike something like Oculus, there's not only indies working on it, Sony's own AAA studios will make exclusives. People want premium content and thats what Morpheus will have.

And look at how 'popular' 3D glasses are. I know it's an unreasonably low number but people don't have a strong tendency to pay much for accessories. It could always change but I'm not too optimistic about it. |

Gamers will pay silly amounts of money on an accessory if they think it's worth while. I personally have more than $400 in accessories just for Gran Turismo...racing game fans alone could make VR a success.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I did not factor this extra price into my post above and I feel that this additional technology is needed in conjunction with Project Morpheus. I almost feel that this almost guarantees that you will be spending at least $250 dollars for Project Morpheus and the new PS camera. Thoughts? |
I'm hoping/thinking it'll either be:
$199 for PM
$249 for PM+Camera
or.
$249 for PM
$279 for PM+Camera

This tech has nothing unique to it, its just the timing that's right. Headset - $200 W/PS Eye & Move - $250 Morpheus w/PS4 - $500 Move won't be necessary because of the controllers light bar. Makes you wonder how far ahead Sony's PlayStation plan is thought out considering the light bar has been there day one. |
When Sony released this picture I knew why the light bar exists in dualshock 4.

PS Move? Lol. Dualshock 4 with its light bar in enough. There is a reason DS4 has light bar. Sony made the controller future proof.

Project Morpheus haha Oh yeah it's easy to see now why the DS4 has all of the features it does.

Price doesn't need to be a factor for Morpheus. It was already the biggest factor of the PS4 which is now effectively bottlenecking everything else.
