I could list games I enjoyed and you can give them a look.

Donkey Kong Country Returns, Trauma Center series, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World, Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, Fragile Dreams!!! (<- Can`t recommend this enough...!!!) , Silent Hill:Shattered Memories, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Mario Kart Wii (<- but no need, MK8 covers that) , Smash Bros Brawl (<-same with this), Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Fatal Frame 2 if you haven`t played it on the PS2, Rayman Legends, and I think I`m missing other ones, but these are what I have so far.

PS3: Saints Row 2 and 3, Hatsune Miku:Project Diva if you like Miku and rhythm based games, Eternal Sonata, Tales of Graces F, Journey (<- just do it! It`s so great!!!), the Walking Dead (<-Just do it too! So so excellent!!!), I`m missing more, but I`m away from my collection atm.

XBox: I know little about Xbox`s exclusives. Try someone who played Xbo games, sorry... TwT

I`m sure many people will disagree with me, but that`s just my opinion on it. I nearly completed it, but I honestly had a terrible time with it. I wanted to like it and prove the naysayers wrong, but I agree with them in the end.

I think you're the first person ever to play Symphonia 2 and say you enjoyed it.... o.O

If you don't mind a dark and linear story based thriller do yourself a favour and buy metro 2033 and metro last light. Excellent games.

I realized Symphonia 2 is not well liked by most of the fans, but I did. Yes, Emil is so annoying and such a whiny crybaby, but I really liked the relationship between Emil and Marta. It was really cute to watch : ) And the voice acting was really good, especially the cat! xD It was a nice small title. It makes me sad most people don`t like it...

I played a LOT of DS, some Wii, PS3 but little X360. Empire members is the way to go

Totally agree with this. A PS3 is def needed to enjoy a lot of the last gen. There are a lot of great games to list for it.

I bought it for 10€ and felt cheated out of my money.

Its a corridor game, the story is non-sensical, the charaters one dimensional, the combat requires one button. It was the first game i ever fell asleep while playing due to how bored i was... and i love Jrpg's.

I say spare yourself the agony, but if you must try it to believe it go for it. I would say Lightingreturns is the only tolerable one. But after XIII i onlyplayed the demos of the sequals.

As for sugestions... Mass effect trilogy, Fallout 3, Tales of Vesperia. That with Skyrim will give you plenty to do.

Ugh, the relationship between Emil and Marta was so cringeworthy to me...

VA was mediocre, story was terrible and predictable, characters were bland, no skippable cutscenes, original characters don't level, but the battle system was amazing! Other than [some of] the music, I think that the battle system was the only redeeming feature in this game :P

You picked the wrong system to not like shooters. Stick to Nintendo and maybe pick up a PS3 as a secondary system.

Take it from someone who grew up with the SNES / PS1 era and jumped all in with a 360 day one and got burned hard.  PS3 is slightly better but not much as it didnt honestly start to pick up and shine until it's last year or two before it went EOL (The Last of Us, Ni no Kuni, Tales of Xillia, etc)

7th gen honestly just sucked a big one, it was the explosion of the mainstream dude bro gamer paradigm.  7th gen was all about catering to the Call of Duty and Madden bros and their online epeen versus only gameplay.  The rest of us, our beloved long running franchises dating back to the 8-32 bit era, non shooter genres like action/adventure, platformers, and RPGs, single player offline story modes, and games with heart and soul, were largely abandoned.

You did well keeping a Wii and DS.  You didn't miss much.

I can count on 1 hand my 360 non shooter exclusives: Tales of Vesperia, Infinite Undiscovery, Lost Odyssey, .. uhm... er no thats a shooter... hmmm no thats availabe on all plaforms.... yeah I got nothing.  Wow I was expecting at least 5.  Borderlands, Bioshock, Fallout3, etc are cross platform or some FPS variant.

PS3 you have The Last of Us, Ni no Kuni, Tales of Xillia 1 and 2, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 HD, FF X, Tales of Graces, Tales of Symphonia, Uncharted if you don't consider that to be a shooter, Dragon's Crown, and theres a couple more but I only had a PS3 the last 1/4 of it's life and my shelves are doubling as temporary storage for Amiibos right now so I cant see the rest XD
