Just receive my new PC build for this one, I'm eager to push it with the Witcher III. Also currently replaying TW1 & 2 in scoiatael path because why not !

I care far more for stability. It doesn't matter if you have achieved 1080p or not. If you can't run at a stable 30 or 60 fps then you have failed.

They already said that Witcher 3 will run at a stable 30fps on both XB1 and PS4 didn't they? |
Developers say a lot of things, doesn't mean they hold merit.
Regardless to the difference itself (i think we've long since established it varies by person), this statement doesn't really mean much. They're hardly going to run around proclaiming that one version of the two they're trying to sell is in any way significantly better :p
It's worth noting though that he said there's little difference "in terms of the actual experience you get", not specifically the two resolutions (as the title states). In that respect i agree with him.

Resolution was never important, it's just that there has been a change between fans about whether to care about resolution and then all of a sudden, it doesn't matter. It was an issue last gen when some games were sub HD on one platform and 720p on the competition. Now that we are in a new gen, those who care stop caring and those who didn't care all of a sudden now care about it.
Resolution debates only matter to those who want to feel better about their console purchase. Other than that, just play the damn game.

Can I take the merit of your words? It's so simple and right on the money.
It's always sad to hear marketing bullshit like that from a game developer.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Well, CD Projekt has a good relationship with Microsoft, so I'd suppose they're making things look brighter.
