Yes, I think so. The original game would have sold to the core Nintendo fanbase, so that means it doesn't really matter that Wii U has a far lower install base because the core fanbase remains and they will buy this game. I doubt it will get much over 1 million though.

What about Project Guard and Project Giant Robot? Weren´t they supposed to release this year? Confirmed are also Rodea the sky soldier, Mario vs DK, Lego Jurassic World and a couple of indies http://www.ign.com/games/upcoming/wii-u?filter=latest

I think they will if they're not implemented into Starfox U, but even if they are standalone i don't think they'll be major releases.
