.... if the 3ds was region free.... if it was region free I would order the hell out of that!

Thank god this isn't coming to America, because I would have bought it.

All this does is make me upset that we don't get this in our country. :(

I hate that Japan is punishing those of us with bigger hands by not making the New 3DS XL have swappable face plates.

Given the quantity of those available I would hope that they carry the idea over to their next handheld, as I am sure swappable face plates would help sell well and reduce having to put out multi-colored devices early in the life cycle, aside from more hyped up limited edition wares.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will support StreetPass, letting New 3DS owners earn in-game tokens when meeting other 3DS owners through the system's wi-fi social service. Players can also earn tokens by tapping the Shulk amiibo — which is a GameStop exclusive — on the New 3DS. Tokens can then be spent to unlock music and character models in the game.

From what I can tell, you earn tokens throughout the game(I would assume via acheivements) and you can use them to unlock songs and models.

I wonder, how many people with a standard 3DS XL would switch to the N3DS over the N3DSXL? I wonder if the larger standards screen in the N3DS would affect it?

All I know is I want there to be a limited edition N3DSXL. And we had better at least get that background theme if nothing else.  Come on NoA, the US was the largest market for Xenoblade on Wii by a significant margin!  >_<
