He's referring to my sig im assuming. I've checked the forum rules and there isnt anything against it. No one seemed to have issue when it was only one banner rather than 3. If I went back to one would it be alright?

Is there any other part of the site that has more info on what users can and cannot display? If so could someone please refer me to it.

Well...that sig is certainly god awful. Not so much for the fact that it spams, but because it is so damn big. I think sigs should be shortened to what Garcian Smith/Montana Hatchet have. Of course it looks like Montana could shift-delete a bit of space in his.

Also legend11, im just curious to know why your allowed to have a link to another site in your signiture and not other VG Chartz members? Is it because mine is a banner rather than a text link like this:

 "Please read the following, it may change your outlook on life: http://www.gymjones.com/knowledge.php?id=36"

I agree that its a bit on the bigger side but i've seen members with huge sigs involving pics, bets with other members and predictions that make mine look small and they've had them displayed for pretty long periods of time. If i did drop it to one banner would there be an issue?

EDIT: I just compared the physical size of my sig to Montana Hatchets and they are almost identical. His just looks a lot tidier i guess.

 Not at all...I've been doing that with cheeto's sig as well as some other random poster who was using quicktime gifs of link and zelda.  Gifs are easy....it's the text that's a bitch.

No, but some people do have huge, unnecessary spaces of emptiness in their signatures.

That said, if I had the power to remove sigs (obnoxious large pics and advertisements) I would in a heartbeat.

Well if you had bothered to look at the link you would have found out that the website doesn't sell anything. Workouts at their gym are by invitation only and they openly discourage people from getting in contact with them. Their website is for information purposes only and has content that serves a purpose other than selling products. Now compare that to your website in which the sole purpose is to sell products, that contains no other real content besides being a store, and that basically turns it's members into spammers. Also my link is not an ad like yours.

As for your message to me comparing your ads to someone posting a link to an IGN review, well IGN actually has content that can be used in deciding if a product is worth buying or not. It has information beyond just being an online store. Is there any such information on the website you link to?  Also most important is that those IGN review links serve a purpose as part of discussions on this website while your ads do not.
