Nintendo has three very interesting games this year for me being Splatoon, Xenoblad, and Zelda U. Of course Zelda is a staple franchise for Nintendo so it should come as no surprise that this entry would make its way to WiiU at some point. Its beautiful artstyle is the more surprising part here.
But Splatoon and Xenoblade in specific stands out to me being a completely new IP for Nintendo with an all-star team and Xenoblade Chronicles X being the sequel to the heavily praised Xenoblade for the Wii.
I won't lie about my hesitation towards Splatoon. I think the artstyle is very interesting and that it has potential to be a lot of fun, but still hesitant to see it at release before i commit to it. Though i want it to succeed primarily to show Nintendo that they should make new IP more often. And while Zelda is probably the most exciting out of the three for reasons Im sure many are aware of, Xenoblade has to be my most anticipated out of the three because I never played the original on Wii. With as much praise this game gets its definitely something I want to experience with the massive landscapes that have been showed off in trailers.
