What he said.

I never really thought this place was this dominated with nintendo fans. I kinda noticed it after E3 when a lot of members joined VGC. I'm guessing a lot of the perception was that Nintendo "won" E3.

This might just be a hypothosis, but I'm thinking we'll see another influx of members of whichever company "wins" (according to the majority of the Internet). Maybe even more specifically on VGC.

I think I noticed when I'd always see the results of the Most Anticipated games. Nintendo would always dominate and them "winning" E3 also supported that fact.

There might be a lot of Nintendo users but I'm not really seeing the full number of them all at once or spread over a weeks worth of topics, most topics on Nintendo so far have been negative with a few positive, there's more Sony fans on here a few Xbox ones and roughly a tiny tiny amount of PC players (Hardly any PC topics started and discussed with PC players these days that aren't negative).

If Nintendo were doomed and Ninty fans left the site then Sony ones would likely take over, the other two groups would probably dwindle to nothing because the bigger group was too busy pissing off the rest and then it would feel like being at IGN or Kotaku all over again.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

If Nintendo goes away, seriously Nintendo is the hottest theme here xD

So you you think games should be sexual and you would not game if Nintendo did not exist? Those are some of the most ironic coexisting beliefs I have ever seen.   The idea that Nintendo as a publisher would be the most likely to publish sexual games out of the many.

Some users might leave but I'd assume that the other groups would pick up the slack a bit. I really don't want Nintendo to leave though...

lol I don't think that game should be sexual, I think that sexuality in games is not bad. Btw jokes on you!:

I dunno. If any of the major companies were to leave it was cause quite a major chasm. I still disagree with the notion that there's more Nintendo fans out there (I'm a Sony fan for example), but childhood memories and second consoles probably give that perspective.

Fortunately there doesn't seem to be any sign of this happening and VGC has definitely become a stronger site recently. Whether that is because of Nintendo or something else, or a combination of lots of things, who knows.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Nope, this forum would die for good if Sony exclusives didn't exist anymore. They are the ones that bring on the fun.

Nintendo is hot because they went from super power to barely selling. It's an interesting case actually.

Nintendo is by far my favorite video game company and I hate seeing them do what they're doing.

Sega used to be my favorite company but now they're a joke. I don't wanna see Nintendo be that! Of course it won't happen, but the Wii U has been a massive disappointment.

Iwata and Miyamoto need to go ASAP

Front page clocks up 130k Nintendo machines in the week sales. 219k from Sony machines and 101k from Microsoft consoles so yeah I would think in terms of gaming consoles you rate barely selling as being 30k per week more than MS's gaming division?
