Nintendo is more likely going to rerelease it for the Wii U than make a HD version of it...

They would probably make more sales if the HD version was released for the the next Nintendo console.

I think it will sell more than WWHD cause a) Its a "darker zelda" and b) Higher installbase

It would sell a little more than WWHD. I really don't think they should do this so soon though. Sometime in the 9th gen would be better.

Not much going by the trouncing it's gotten in popularity polls on here...

But seriously, I think the darker and more realistic tone would appeal to more people nowadays than the cell-shaded Wind Waker did. I love them both, but Twilight Princess is one of the biggest Zelda games ever. The hype surrounding it's release was unreal.

And people are crying out for an HD, realistic Zelda, my guess is between 2-3 million.
