Both of these games look amazing to me. I'm just curious what most people are going for here. Many of us never got to play the original Xenoblade due to late localization, short supply, and skyrocketing "used game" pricetags. Many of us either bought or are buying Wii U's primarily to play X. Which category do you fall into?

I bought Xenoblade for $50 upon release (lucky me.) I've beaten the game twice, spending about 300 hours total on it. Definitely worth the $50. I am mostly buying a Wii U for Zelda U and Xenoblade X, however I have dozens of other games I want on the Wii U, these two games just accelerate my purchase.

For me, Xenoblade Chronicles is actually a goal I want to accomplish. It is Chronicle X's predecessor, so I would start from the beginning.

Go deep if that's the case. 

OT: Both. I already played the original, so I want X, and Xenoblade on the go is too tempting.

What? No "we downloaded it cause gamestop is full of idiots" option?

I got Xenoblade on release ; ) And X I will do the same. So pumped for X, and Xenoblade, man... I was so impressed with the open world they made. I was taken aback with how much freedom there was. It was kind of intimidating, haha...

Since I already own Xeno on Wii, I'm far more excited for X.

I've already played XC on the Wii, and have no intentions of buy a 'New' 3DS, so XCX for me ^^

I bought Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii back in 2011, so I have no need to buy in again on 3DS.

X, on the other hand, is my second most desired game, with only Fatal Frame 5 topping it.

I never picked up XC on Wii back when it came out, so when I plan on buying both coming out this year!
