Possibly but a game should be reviewed on what it sets out to achieve. It's like Heavy rain. Gaming master piece that many reviewed under the same criteria they give to mainstream titles.

One is hated for being a linear, story driven, "See do not touch" , Uninteractive, QTE infested game, with pretty graphics. I'm not defending The Order, I knew i wouldn't like it because of it's focus on linearity and graphics. but whats so different between these two? loved developers getting a free pass? |
Start of last gen I played uncharted 1. Great game then but it's not a patch on the order.

As I said several times in many threads here, I wholeheartedly disagree with this.
"I want to achieve to make a game everybody will immediately hate!". Makes a game where you automatically die after 10 minutes, no matter what you do. No save points, nothing. Game can be finished (in god mode) at best in 1 hour.
-> Everybody hates the game, goal achieved. 10/10?

I'm talking within reason. You're not in that reply.
The order masterly achieved what it set out to do. I'm glad they stuck to their guns.

I was thinking of that game when I read and watched the reviews of the order
I own the bouncer
It wasn't a great game many will remember and if they rember they do because it was hyped and in the end turned out to be a bit of a disapointment
but was it a bad game ? no! it had its problems but it wasn't a bad game that for example deserves a 2/10 like some reviewers a giving the order
I still enjoyed playing it and I'm sure that I will enjoy playing the order. will I be blown away by it? the answer:probably no , maybe by the graphics
will I absolutly regret buying it ? probably no
would I buy it for 60$ ? no , but I rarely buy games day one or at full price . In fact I can't remember buying a game at full price the last gen
''Bottom Line
The Order: 1886 may have a storyline that lacks in terms of its character development, but the rest of the title feels adequate in all its gameplay and story-driven elements. The characters are so intriguing, that they make me want to learn more about them, though I sadly cannot even after finishing. The mystery of The Order feels authentic and built on real-world lore, and the steadfast action throughout the course of the chapters builds quite a tension in the cinematic screen space with high resolution textures and attention paid to intricate character details. The Order: 1886 leaves me wanting a lot more partly because it is so good and partly because it feels somewhat underwhelming in its lack of character delivery. PlayStation 4 owners will have something to look forward to when the game is released tomorrow February 20th, 2015.''
Score: 8.8/10

Oh my god, the user reviews hahaha I'm not sure anybody on there has played the game. It's almost all 10's and 0's.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
