Trust me, its awesome.  The game starts off using regular video game tropes.  Somewhere along the way, if you really think about it, you realize that your partner might not be real.  In the end, you realize your character is batshit crazy.  It is very subtle and very well done.

Come to think about it, a game where evil truly wins over the good people is in Killer is Dead. Well, the whole game doesn't make much sense, but in the end, David wins.
