It's not mentioned in the OP, but Rapier later did not like how the story ended. If I were to paraphase, he said that the story was decent, but had wasted potential. Still though, not a bad start for RAD and they can definitely improve on the storywriting.

yeah I read on.  As long as the ride is good I don't care if it has to wait a couple years for the destination

From what I have interpreted from GAF's impressions, the ride is good for the most part until the end. Also, everyone is gushing at the IQ of this game.

I am still looking foward to playing the game when it comes out. The games that get average reveiws are the ones that I always end up enjoying the most.

I think reviewers actually generally play games on easy just because only have so much time before they have to go review the next game

in other words they rushed XD

Seriously though i think most reviewers i read/watch do their reviews on normal, quite frankly all reviewers should do it on normal. Easy can be far to easy, it might be the difference between 1 shot kills in the leg versus 2 shots to the head etc. that might add an hour to the game

which brings it to a grand total of 8 hours!!! :P

There's really only one game I've ever played that actually requires you to start on Easy, and that's Stalker.  People just aren't prepared for how challenging that game and it's AI, is.  Have had a couple friends basically give up, after getting killed over and over and over by the first aggressive person or mutant they run into (literally like 20 steps into the game).

I'm thinking the order is probably already easy on normal dificulty and probably super easy on easy XD

Will Sony still be willing to buy Ready at Dawn after this games does about as much as Sunset Overdrive

That's alright, the term difficulty has been forever ruined for me, by Stalker lol.

A true testament to the quality of reviews.....

The pro's really appeal to me (especially atmosphere).

I rarely replay games (unless they are fun and theres a trophy for doing it) and I sell them when im done, so length isnt an issue. Not a fan of QTE's, but I dont hate them either.

I'll pick this up at some point.

3 hours cutscenes and QTE? Well fuck...

Metal Gear is not impressed.   In Metal Gear Solid 4, the final scene goes on and on.  I'm not kidding. This shit is never ending.  And people still gave it a 10/10.

Frustration and bad pacing breaks atmosphere for me though...

But same here, atmosphere is very appealing.
