I think its very much depends on the total package or experience they have managed to deliver. I dont think its as simple as just counting hours. If the gameplay and cutscenes are seamless and done right then its fine. Afterall they scored the game a 7.5.

That being said 7 hours total playthough time is not ideal regardless. Our tolerance for short games has increased since last gen, which i think is a bad thing.

I love God of war so I like cutscenes and qte. No cons in this for me.

Did they really play the game on easy? Why wouldn't they play it on normal difficulty?

With exception to the excess of QTE's and their timing, they seem to have enjoyed the gameplay (well, 'playability', for which they gave a 4/5). It's primarily the length and lack of replay value that they have an issue with (hence the 2/5 for that).

It's silly to discuss a cumulative score without considering the numbers that make it up. The pros/cons fit well with what they gave each section.

I think reviewers actually generally play games on easy just because only have so much time before they have to go review the next game

Films in IMAX are $30 where you live? They are $13.49 here.  

yeah I read on.  As long as the ride is good I don't care if it has to wait a couple years for the destination

Quick Time Event - when you mash buttons to progress a cutscene, pretty much.

Seriously though i think most reviewers i read/watch do their reviews on normal, quite frankly all reviewers should do it on normal. Easy can be far to easy, it might be the difference between 1 shot kills in the leg versus 2 shots to the head etc. that might add an hour to the game

which brings it to a grand total of 8 hours!!! :P
