New Nintendo 3DS sold about 175k in the US and 160k in Europe!

http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/library/events/150217/02.html

*Here are our preliminary sales figures for New Nintendo 3DS launched last Friday in each region, and we are comparing the sales for the first two days to those of Nintendo 3DS XL. At the end of last year, some video game enthusiasts, who actively gather information on video games, held off on buying Nintendo 3DS hardware in anticipation of the New Nintendo 3DS launch. Thanks to these consumers and some highly anticipated titles being released simultaneously, we had a good launch despite it not being the usual sales season. Our next challenge is to keep this sales momentum.

(I said Arguably because US retailers have all sold out practically, im guessing not enough Shipped :-/)

Sweet! Can't wait for February's NPD

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I kinda figured a more front loaded release because the N3DS has limited edition Zelda and Monster Hunter bundles that were going to bring out the collector/Zelda fan/gotta pre-order/type of audience.

Hopefully though it's an eye opener for Nintendo than advertising on real prime-time TV shows like Walking Dead and Better Call Saul pays off. Enough with hiding your ads on Nickeldeon for kids.

This is the surprise of the year so far...

Apparently Europe #s are XL only? I need confirmation pls :0

Not for France, I saw a bunch of them last Saturday at the hypermarket. Anyway, the boost will be short-lived, since that it will be mostly be people upgrading and not new consumers.

Yeah, like Japan it was short lived right? Anywayz, N3DS will do its job. No need to say needless things^

Edit: just in case you dont know what i meant, im saying its making 3ds overall not have a huge decline. Thats it.
