I am back at it again! Your resident WRPG (fighting and hack n slash) fanatic has been having withdrawls for a good Marvel ARPG like Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Mavel legos won't cut it and it just does not feel the same no matter how many characters you throw are thrown our way. I especially loved being apart of the Civil War storyline in part two. I loved choosing my favorite characters, leveling them up and controlling them in heated battle situations no different from how I pictured a ARPG would delve into a comic book world. The music was just right, the enemies were on point and the models were perfect for the time period. I must say, I am terribly disappointed that the last game didn't sell as well as it should've causing a third to be created. I would've loved to see the impact and storyline. I always wondered if the third game would've turned out  to be an Apolocalypse story. That would've been sick.

These were among the best Marvel video game adaptations IMO. Seems like a no-brainer to revisit the series within the context of the MCU...but considering Disney's already got their money-making video game platform out, I don't see it happening.

yes I have the original and it was so amazing

X-men Legends was great, #2 not so much as it did a lot of stuff for you.
Ultimate Alliance was good but #2 was far better, new engine and new team with combined powers.

Alas, no likely to ever see another, even of it's kind. Disney have seen to that and currently, what Marvel games are in development at all. Infact comics games, we have another Lego game and Batman? Big wow.

Hmm, pie.

Yep. Non-LEGO movie games are seen as trash by gamers anyhow, so why not just make low-effort Infinity games and figurines instead? (And why bother filling the market with more comic games when there are two-three comic movies a year already?)

I think Spider-man gets a game for each of his films plus some other and usually they are good but the contract from Activision ended at the time the last Spider-man film/game came out. I'm not even sure we'll get one of those anytime soon. We certainly won't get any X-men stuff.

Disney is horrible at running the videogame aspect of their IP control. I hate to say this...but since they took the reigns out of Activisions hands, they need to give it to EA. Could you imagine that? A Bioware created Marvel game? My head just exploded.

Get part two before its sold out at Gamestop! Its still $40 even after four years of being out. It could be a collectors item some years down the road!

Yes like hell. I absolutely loved the very 1st and really liked the 2nd. These games were Day One and beat Day One. Still have the 2nd and need to get the 1st. I also downloaded the characters before they pulled the plug on them. Underrated beat em ups

I loved the first game, but found the second to be a step backwards in many ways so it rather disappointed me. Still I do wish they could have gotten the original developer to come back and make a third game
