Also this is common practice in videogame bussines, sony doesnt see the point wasting money on a name of a game they arentg sure when it can come out. Sony can easily trademark it again or release it with a different name.

I keep my Trico avatar partly out of habit and partly as a sort of vigil to Team Ico, not because I have faith that the game will be good (assuming it's released). I feel like Team Ico is a shell of its former self and, if that is the case, then I would rather they were closed down than allowed to release a title that tarnished their reputation.

They created two beautiful games, one of which was easily the best game of its generation for my money; it would be a huge shame if the studio responsible for all of that ended up releasing a bad game after 10+ years and was then instantly shuttered anyway.

Its better than nothing, what would give us gamers if this game doesnt get released at all? Sure it would ruin the reputation of team ico an. probably their career but it wouldnt be bad for us.

They should abandon the name and re-show it at E3 as something entirely new in terms of a name; would alleviate some of that developmental hell's stigma.
