I'm going to go with the DS. I was quite surprised when I saw that Super Mario64 actually ran and ran amazingly well on the DS, I am sure that on the N64 the game would look worse due to increased blurrines.

These are pretty compelling examples.  But worth noting, this is hardly fair.  The DS had a far lower resolution to deal with.  So it could allocate more resources to other areas.
