Yes the humor is well done, it has a TON of references, parodys and great humor regarding the whole console war (i would like to say more but i dont want to spoil it for you), and i also intend to play Hyperdevotion Noire but thats mostly because she is my favorite character and she is getting her own game.

Also you dont need to play the first one to play the Noire one, since the Noire one takes place in another dimension, thats their way of changing everything while still keeping it canon, that being said you should play the first one regardless since its a good game (specially if you enjoy the whole console war and anime).
