Well, both are TPS, both are exclusive for a console.

Gears Of War hands down.
It's a well established and popular franchise, with a strong fanbase. The Order selling more would be really surprising.

Can we stop these foolish threads please. Let the order be it own game and earn it's own respect.

Well, we're on a websites that's all about gaming and especially how games sell, no wonder we see prediction threads pop up often :P

He didn't ask which will be better, only wich will sell the most !

I'd be surprised if the Order did even half the sales that Gears 4 will do.

should pretty easily go to Gear4, especially if the Order receives the mediocre reviews/word of mouth early impressions indicated, as new IPs are more dependend on that to convince people to spent the money

additionally the Order doesn't offer MP, so networking effects from groups of friends playing the game together are non-existant

I completely understand that, and have no problem with realistic comparison. But to compare the Order to Gears already is unjust to both games. 

PS I'm talking strictly sales and Gears of War was consistently the one of the top 5 selling exclusives of any game last gen.

I agree, now I see your point.

I never liked the GeoW games, but they are great. Among the greatest TPS ever made, and the biggest games (in terms of sales AND quality) of the Xbox360/PS3 era.

It's too soon to make such comparisons, I agree.

I really think we might be in for quite a surprise with The Order. There's way too much mistery around the game, and so little we've seen... It'll have some interesting things to offer I bet ;)

But yeah, when it comes to sell let's be realistic. The next GeoW will be an absolute beast. In comparison, 3-4M LT would be great for The Order in my opinion.
