I hope they get comparable English VAs. First of all, Shulk and Melia's actors are among them, as well as Shion and KOS-MOS's. Those would all be extremely appropriate choices.

But mostly it's the others that intrigue me. Bayonetta's actress? Yu Narukami? Otacon? Leeron?!

Please let me be brotagonist or Steve Blum, based Treehouse.

They released a batch of 1920x1080 screenshots a couple of weeks back and they looked like 900p to me (and vivster). Couple that with trading resolution for extra sparkle being exactly the kind of thing I'd expect SE to do with FF, and i'm now expecting the final game to be 900p.

It won't stop me buying the game, but i'd love for them to prove me wrong. ResolutionFanboy4Life :p

I mean, 900p is still an improvement over last gen. Wasn't the 360 version of XIII sub-HD?

I didn't even recognize those, my knowledge of Japanese VA talent is limited, haha. They weren't kidding when they said they had a star-studded cast...

I'd also really like it if some of the English cast of the first game returned, it'd be a nice throwback.

I'd actually be very surprised if it was 900p. I mean, yeah, there have been 900p PS4 games before, like Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, and AC Unity, but 1080p still seems to be the standard in the majority of cases. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Yep, it rendered at 1024x576 (64% of 1280x720). It wasn't an great port though. Pretty sure FF13-2 was 720p on both.

Well I hope you end up being right. Especially since i started using my PC monitor for my consoles a couple of months back. It's made me even more grumbly on the topic lol (though it's really convenient for swapping between console and PC games).
