Star Ocean The Second Story. A lot of people are posting The Last of Us, and sure, it brings out some emotions, but nothing compared to Star Ocean The Second Story imo. Star Ocean Second Evolution has some fairly well done voice acting on literally every story sequence in the game which adds to it. I've never cried because of a video game, but this game is the closest I've ever came to doing so.

Damn, how could I forget Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII?!
The entire game built up to that incredible ending. It devastated me.
the last of us. one of the few games were I actually cared about the story line.
