Preordering is okay for games that deserve to be supported like bloodborne, bloodborne for example has not any digitally preorder bonus, in the nightmare edition there is only a coupen to download a soundtrack thats it.

you allways get what they say you get from nintendo. they dont hide anything, they dont talk bs about gameplay, and they test their

games.

You know that's one thing I;d love to see a lot more of in the industry, testing games I mean and at the same time showing us proof that they are testing them and taking what we give into account, we see dev diaries but really those are just fluff vids that are more "we're working really hard to make X a great game" and that's all that is to those, I'd love to see "as you can see in dev diary test 142 we took into account the user feedback and changed the game as shown/listed changes etc" type vids, I know we already get a few of those but they mostly stem from Indie devs that work on ea games, I can't say I;ve seen big leagues like EA or ubisoft pull those type of vids, I bet if they did they'd show how much effort they truly put into their games =P.

I really got their feel of testing and showing games from the Tree House thing at E3 last year. That was such a good idea and seemed really great for them to do that. It felt honest and quite confident for them to show the game real time rather than just have built trailers set to show the best parts of a game. I hope the Tree House thing stays, and other dev teams could learn something from that.

When it is publosher with a good track-record in completing games so they need massive day one patches. Nintendo-games are ok to pre-order for instance

I guess when it comes with a pre order bonus you really want, or if there is a genuine worry that it might run out of stock on day of release.

We don't get those stuff in the Philippines. And for some reason, the download codes never seem to work. Besides, I usually buy the Complete version. The one with all DLC. That validates all the pre-order DLC I never got.

Oh right! I forgot you're from the Phillipines! Sorry... I don't know how the game business works there either. It's lame you don't get some of the neat bonuses.

The complete bonuses are cool for people who passed on the game long enough, but lame for those who got the dlc on release. Something seems kinda wrong when they release a complete edition later...

One of the good things however is that we don't need to inport games. The stores buy games from every region. I also buy the Comppete Edition if it's a game I never had interest in trying, like Bioshock Infinite. That was a very fun game.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Its OK to preorder whenever you want. A few whiny "gamers" claiming it hurts he industry without evidence shouldn't stop you

I like many here use pre orders with a fair degree of discrimination , take me I will pre order Persona 5 because I love the series and their track record make the odds that I will love this game pretty high , same thing with any thing from Naughty dog .
You can't completely eliminate getting a bad game , people have been burnt the same way buying day one you just have to be cautious towards what you do or don't pre order.
