Has it been a full year yet? That seems to be the trend regarding Xbox One exclusive to PC release, seems like Microsoft Exclusive to open wouldn't be a stretch for a year.

It will have been a year in about another month. Doesn't seem like it will release on PS, especially if they are thinking of Titanfall 2 already.

I know it's wishful thinking, but I was hoping that Titanfall 1 might be unlockable in Titanfall 2 upon completion. I enjoyed Titanfall, there just wasn't enough content for me.  I think the extra maps would really benefit Titanfall 2, marketing Titanfall 1 is included in Titanfall 2 would really increase franchise sales for the PS4 audience. If they really want this to be a big hit, they need to do something otherwise the Playstation audience might shun it. This is something they could do for all versions, so it wouldn't look like special treatment.

Didn't they sort of confirm this before already? Would make sense if they made the 2nd PS4 also. It won't be a big success being only on the Xbox, and with the PS4's larger base only means more sales for this series.

Finally the true vision of Titanfall can be delivered to us on the PS4. Titanfall 2 for PS4, the "true" Titanfall.

Titanfall 1 was already enough to satisfy me. Not reall hyped for a Titanfall 2. If they make it cross-platform play with Xbone/PS4/PC, then that would really make me want it. Would love to kill some trash talking bitches that talk trash about my beloved console all the time. I mean, it was already awesome being able to play Titanfall with that PlayStation traitor S.T.A.G.E.. It felt like the line of fanboyism was finally crossed and everything was well and my path to enlightenment to join wagnerpaiva to rapture this year would complete me.

Calling it Microsoft exclusive doesn't make sense because Microsoft doesn't collect platform fees on Windows, which is one of the main reasons for the platforms wild success.

Also, it doesn't make sense for anyone to keep this console exclusive on Xbox anyway. In fact, unless the PS4 continues to completely outsell the Xbox One by the same amount as it did last year, it won't make sense to have a bunch of 3rd party exclusives on the PS4 either.
