I personally don't have a problem with it.  But that doesn't mean it's for me personally.  I eat cows, etc, but I wouldn't eat dog--but I won't stone those that do--that's their choice.

I think it's dumb that they are trying to ban it for the olympics.  Their culture says it's okay to eat dogs, who are we to stop them.  According to the Chinese, the dogs are a nusance over there,  breed like rabbits, and run the streets as scavengers and pests.  They are looked at sort of like rats are looked at in the US.

Lol...it really is quite disgusting though.  It made me want to barf posting up these pics.  In the first pic they're selling the dogs and eggs together...yum, dog omelette.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I'm working on becoming a vegetarian. I've cut out pork for the last 4 years, and I only eat meat 2-3 meals a week instead of a few a day. When I have to cook, I make something vegetarian. I just can't handle touching flesh.

Switching to a vegetarian diet also saves more carbon emissions that switching to a hybrid car.

That's so gross.. Then again, I guess so is eating all other kinds of animals, it's just that we're used to it. And the kinds that we usually eat are less.. recognizable.

That's just your opinion though, it's just as possible to get attached to a cow, see India for example, where cows are sacred.

Also: pigs are MUCH smarter than dogs, if that's supposed to make the difference for you.

i like my meat ....we were made to eat meat...so i will eat meat....but not dog

 That sadly wouldn't happen but I do what I can by being one... And to people saying eating a cow isn't the same it's cause of the way we were taught it was alright to eat them. It's like implanted in our minds that it's fine.

If you would have, example, a pig (since some people do have some as their pet), since it's a baby, give it a name and spend your time with it and such I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to eat it just as you wouldn't want to eat a dog or cat.

If you don't want to give up on meat, do what I do: eat less meat and when you do eat meat: eat organic meat exclusively. That way you're not participating in the horrors that go down in the massive meat-processing industry.
