In E3 2015 I am sure that they will anounce a new Animal Crossing on Wii U to come out in 2016

So when it does it come out, do you think it has a chance of outselling the original?

well mk8 is showing that it can outsell its predecessor(Ik it hasnt outsold it yeat but its on a lower install base and is outperforming it by a couple million in its time span)

Considering that the fanbase is much larger than it was back in the early 2000s, it's certainly possible. It might actually end up being one of the best selling Wii U games too.

I think he is speaking of the attach rate. I.e., if Mario Kart Wii was selling on the same install base as Wii U, Mario Kart 8 would sell better.

In response to the original post - I think it could outsell it, but I am not completely sure it will.

It definitively can outsell the GC original. It will also be a boost for the system in Japan.

Yep. Animal Crossing is a system seller. I'm not sure if people realize this, but it is. It'll be a huge hit in Japan and America.
