no it doesnt. there is still a metroid game released every 8 years. |
And inbetween. Does that throw a wrench into it?
Here's what you forgot
Metroid 2 1991
Metroid Fuzion 2002
Metroid Zero Mission & Prime 2 2004
Metroid Prime Hunters 2006
Metroid Prime 3 2007
Prime Trilogy (if you want to count it...) 2009
So it's become more popular in the last decade, there is likely one to be sooner than later. Plus Metroid Hunters on the DS disproves your theory of it missing every third console. GB, GBA, DS. Unless you count the GBC as a second GB, then it's still discounted due to the GBA.
So basically
Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

i dont know how many times i have to say this, but none of that matters. how do the games in between change the fact that there is one released every 8 years? it doesnt
| Rustuv said: you lack sufficient data to make this claim credible. they've only had 6 consoles including the WiiU, which means to even make this a real theory of a pattern we would have to wait until the 7th console came out and had no Metroid games on the WiiU, only then can you say they skip the 3rd console. because right now that isn't a pattern. it's something that has happened 1 time. Ever. |
if you want to deny history, then deny history. im merely presenting facts.

they may release one in 2016, but its for sure not going to be on wii u (because nintendo always skips metroid for every 3rd console) so that means if it does come out, it has to be on 3ds

LOL. Guess we'll find out in 2018. When I read it originally, it seemed like you were saying that was the NEXT one. Especially since you said it misses every third console which isn't correct.

Well this went down hill rather fast

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

oh, yeah. ive been very clear and always made sure to say that there will be a new one released. not necessarily a next one. the next one could be on 3ds for all i know, but based off what we have, we can be sure of two things. one is coming out in 2018 (because a new metroid is released every 8 years) and it cant be on the wii u (because nintendo always skips the third console).

What does this even mean? We had a Metroid game on every Nintendo console except the N64 and you want to tell us that this is already some kind of pattern that we should all aknoweldge?
