That is an good point

Any idea what this means, because from what I've seen the so called "story related items" are laughably shallow, unless I am missing something. 

I watched the whole thing so I kinda know what he is talking about. The guy on YT just ignores some of the ingame 'pointers'. Theyre probably meant for immersion so I was kinda pissed when he would just run past one of those. Although I dont imagine that they will contribute to the story much. 

EDIT: Those pointers by the way are just little things that the player can interact with although I would be suprised if they were crucial to the story.

So much bad blood around this game. I won't fault RAD for trying to do something different in the AAA space. I hope this game sells well to encourage RAD and other devs to try better and create new experiences. There's room for all kinds of games even "interactive movies" and "short games".

If the evidence we have (Amazon/Gamestop Bestseller lists, trusted Gaf users) shows the true picture, then I think The Order will do just fine.  It's #19 on Amazon's Bestsellers for the month, and will continue to rise judging by the hourly ratings.  Currently, it's #13 on Gamestop's Bestsellers.  And according to a user on Gaf, it has more than Evolve's PS4 and XBO preorders combined at Gamestop's retail stores, however many that is.

Thats what I assumed...not exactly something of any meat to add anything meaningful to the game. 

I love all the drama surrounding this game. The NPD data for this would be a huge deal alone.

There will be many salty tears and crow eating once the dust have settled. Its like reality TV. lol!
