I type out Xbox One every time, so people think i'm serious with what i have to say about it.

I do it to get under everyone's skin. 

Well I did too :P Doesn't work as it used to though, time to think of a new word.

I use XB1. X1 makes me think of the cable system promotion, everything else is more letters.

I prefer XB1 mostly because I'm used to it already.

I mostly use XBO but I occasionally use XB1.

Any name for the Xbox One that doesn't get you banned is acceptable.

Some find Xbone offensive -- I don't understand why. It seems however if you've already typed XBO that's a more acceptable abbreviation. However, I'd feel like that'd be more offensive as BO = Body Odor = stinks.

XBO could be a way to say "Xbox stinks!"

Skipping someones post just because they use the abbreviation "Xbone" seems like a childish thing to do. Why not read the post first?

I think most people have used multiple abbreviations, unlike PS4 there isnt an obvious abbreviation to use. There's been times I've used Xbone, X1 , XB1 or even the one.

To automatically categorize someone based on how they abbreviate a consumer product is being faaaar to sensitive for something that is so trivial.

To be fair, I've been calling it the 8box ever since I knew they were putting that OS on it.

The only thing childish I see here is the fact that people are actually getting offended by Xbone.

Anyways, I use it, and see no real need to stop. I'll use it if I'm saying something negative, or I'll use it if I'm saying something positive. And if that causes you to skip over my post because of it, well, that's your problem, not mine.
