The second time I beat Vanquish it lasted me two and a half hours.

 

It is still one of my favourite games ever.

 

If the game is good...I don't care about the lenght. :)

Scores can change pretty quickly when you factor in the price of the game :P

ka-pi96 there are no cutscenes..that's the "problem" and why "moments of watching" can't be skipped.

This is what I'm saying, two different opinions on game length (vastly different, in fact). How can one be gospel and the other ignored? Makes no sense.

To clear things up.
A lot of buzz around my completion of the game.
I played the game a lot before earning my frist trophy.

Second, somebody online called "Lord Lichetsten" or something, claims to know me personally and quotes me for saying how long the game took and what score I would give it.
I do not know this person and as I have answered to a lot of messages, I am not talking about game length, score, story or anything other.

Im just clearing up about the first trophy that I did not get before later in the game.

Sounds plausible and setting the game on Easy helps a lot too. If that option is available.

There is nothing to see here even if true. Evil Within has a Trophy for doing a speed run in under 5 hours. The game took me 16 hours first play through. He is either lying, or just rushed to the end (which means he didn't even REALLY play the game for what it was anyway). So yeah I'm gonna call BS on this entire subject. Games like this typically run at least 10 hours when played correctly without even taking in every little thing. I expect no less from The Order.

The problem does not seem to lie with the user (he never said anywhere that it took him 5 hours) but rather with the unsurprisingly clickbaity sources "reporting" an incorrect read of trophy timestamps. Gaming journalism at its best, not even bothering to check information.

Agreed, I will update the title for the OP.

Edit: Went with 'under 10 hours,' given the enormous degree of confusion and conflicting messages in this thread.
