Another 90+ meta to add to the 3DS' collection! (Hopefully)

This is more or less what I expected. Most reviewers scale their ratings with the game's notoriety almost as much as its actual quality, so 8.5 to 9 is exactly where a Majora remake should fall.
| artur-fernand said: Why does everybody hate Great Bay Temple anyway? It looks daunting, but it's a fairly straight-forward dungeon. It's definitely no Water Temple. Anyway, I hope the remake improved the bosses. Other than Goht (a fantastic battle) and the final boss (which was epic on atmosphere alone), the rest is either dull (Odolwa), incredibly annoying (Gyorg) or become painful if you run out of magic (Twinmold) |
The Great Bay Temple was everything wrong with the Water Temple x3.

It's reviewing great! But everyone already knew that was going to happen anyway.
The question is now whether or not it stays above 90.

Awesome. The game is 90 on Metacritic right now... not bad for a remake on a handheld. :p
Will probably be the highest rating retail title until Bloodporn comes out.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Yay! I like 90.
I can't wait to get this game for sure.
I've never played this game before, but it seems as if I HAVE TO now ^^
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
I'd say that's a pretty good metascore for MM3D! Also, gotta love IGN's aquaphobia. It simply never gets old!

You're crazy. Water Temple involved changing the level of water multiple times and then you go here, change the water again, go there and change the water. Not to mention the pain of equipping the Iron Boots. Very easy to get lost.
Great Bay you just go from room to room using one of the best masks on the game, and turn switches that automatically disappear so as to say "you're done here, go find another switch". The most annoying part was the central area with the turbine, whatever it is.
