Hooray, X1 sales in Japan will go up by an amazing 1%!

They are really missing an opportunity here. It would be awesome if they plastered an anime-ish Master Chief on the top of the console. It would speak more to the consumers than the standard white/black.

Wow, imagine if this stayed Japan only, would be a super expensive collectors item given only about 6 will sell xD

Here's what Halo has done in Japan, missing is Halo: Wars & Reach

They advertised + bundled Evil Within for XB1, iirc.  It sold ~3k FW to PS4's ~57k.

You'd have to question if it's worth the effort with multi-plats.

Scalebound might be worth a try, but it depends on what type of game it turns out to be.  Platinum Games aren't exactly a commercially successful dev either in Japan or abroad.

I would say at least they're trying but this is honestly just them burning money. I would say get out; Japan just isn't showing any interest.

They're still trying with the Xbox 1 in Japan, even after how bad their other consoles did? Don't they just get that it doesn't work in Japan? Their effort is admirable, but they oughta quit already. It's just not going to work. If this fails, I hope they just give up and move on.

It's being wasted in Japan. It would be a much better bundle for NA and Europe.
