Wouldn't solve a thing. Sonic Boom has 3.5 stars out of 5 on Wii U Eshop (most rated it 5 out of 5 stars)
Fan boys would just vote it 10/10 to justify their purchase.

Does Wii U eShop only have ratings from verified purchases? If so, I guess people may have liked it.

What's bad about this one is that most non-verified purchases are giving it 1 stars, and only having reviews from verified purchases would be a good solution.

I think you can only vote if you bought it yes.

And trust me, Sonic Boom is not worth 5 out of 5 stars. But not a lot of people voted anyway (23 I think). Although that could just be the votes from my country, no idea how the eshop works exactly.

If it works like the PS Store, and only verified buyers can rate it, then most likely, people just didn't like it as much as others.   I've only seen vids of that game, but I know I would never buy to play.  Nor would I buy it just so I can give it a 1 star rating.

Edit:  Also, it is true that fanboys will rate it higher than some feel it deserves, but even your Sonic Boom example shows that it's not enough to sway it completely.  It still got a 3.5, which is still a decent scrore, but not the greatest.

It does, you can only rate a game if you have bought it off the eshop.

PS4 has dropped a wee bit since The Order released. So perhaps the Order had a slight boosting effect for PS4.

The Order remains in the top 10 coming up to 2 days post launch. That hardly constitutes legs of course, but it suggests not a total sales flop either.

The Order fell from #9 to #10 (it was #8 yesterday). I'm surprised that it is not dropping that fast. Quality of the game is debatable, but we can conclude that it will definitely not flop like Evolve. PS4 jumped to #8.

The Order #39 yearly now. FF Type 0 also entered the yearly at #97 :)

The Orders max reach was 4th or 5th right? Evolve never cracked top 20 I think. On top of that, The Order is nr1 in the UK and France and top 5 in Germany since wednesday.

This game has to have sold decently despite the forums outcry.

I think the game will do well in Europe. I have read somewhere people who read review in Spanish and German that they have good review of the game in those countries. But in the US I think after the first week the game will bomb.
