Not really because I think it sounds cool or epic, but because it was memorable to me and important in my development as a gamer at a young age. It is also one everyone in my immediate family can relate to.

Otherwise, another Star Wars one which actually is epic and a pretty iconic one which sets the tone for an adventure and even has it's own Wikipedia entry signifying it's legacy:
