I came here to read WizzBeard's post and he hasn't even hit this thread yet. What a drag.

Does it have to be first and foremost a game world? Could I pick, like, Star Wars or Harry Potter or something? That would be rad. LEGO Star Wars or LEGO Harry Potter would also be acceptable.

I tried coming up with something that doesn't feel so much like cheating but I don't feel like it.

Pokemon, probably. Really expensive lemonade, but free healthcare. Plus, it doesn't really seem like anybody HAS to have a job. Going out and catching and raising Pokemon is a perfectly acceptable career for a person of any age.

Also, the world of Xenoblade is so beautiful that I wouldn't mind being there in a time of peace. Or Hyrule. And one of the best things about living in a video game world (Zelda and Xeno in particular) would be the awesome music to accompany everything you do.

Persona 4. I could go to high school, actually make friends, fight demons, solve a conspiracy, get a girlfriend, and just have a great time. I'd be Yu or the main protagonist (original I know).

Second choice would be Fire Emblem, or specifically Awakening and I'd be Robin since he is the main avatar.
