My thoughts as well, will one guild allow you to gain more access to better mecha/Dolls, while another grant more access to other events like hidden dungeons or bosses?
If this game has a time limit, system that actually would be great for all these factions IMO. Each play through will be different as some events lead into others and there will be multiple ways to get your character to the conculsion instead of one set path with several optional side quests.
