Forums - Sales Discussion - Hardware Charts Week Ending Jan 10th

So despite the Wii U being at 9.2M as of Dec. 31st, according to the site it's at 9M as of Jan. 10th.

Huh.

Oh, and don't ban me for repeating what has already been said by people not currently banned

9.2 shipped. VGChartz tracks sold through. VGC seems to be pretty spot on with Wii U tracking as of right now.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Those X1 numbers the week of the price increase.

I doubt it.

Maybe other adjustments ? or wrong rounding ? I have no idea.  By the way, PS4 sold roughly the same as X1 in NA(according to VGC, which could be wrong, easy, as all NPD from Jan to Oct 2014 showed PS4 ahead of X1 while VGC was showing in many weeks X1 ahead!), and roughly twice as much as X1 in Europe. In Japan X1 should be discontinued. This is the summary.

Why? They are still selling there. Small markets still help with sales. Or do you think the PS4 should be discontinued in all the smaller markets as well?

So, if you sell 500-600 units in all Japan this helps sales ? Japan is a small market ?

Both MS consoles combined sold roughly 650 units in a week in Japan, where PS4 sold 20 times as much as X1 and 360 combined.

Maybe, if the situation won't improve, someone might think to discontinue both...
