I agree with zekkyou. ive seen what he said but i havent really seen the things pwerlvlamy said. But it probably did happen in some threads.

Wasnt directly talking about these forums. I'm saying in general from every where I was during that time frame. Kotaku/IGN/Gamespot/Polygon/Gematsu,etc etc

I wasnt on these forums at that point in time so I can't say what went down here

This is true, still today i find lots of people claiming that Nintendo is always doing remakes, now is for Majora´s Mask 3Ds, before was for Wind Waker HD, and is really stupid, now we have Tlou, Gta V, Dmc4, DMC5, FFtype0, Tomb Raider, Halo MCC.... an the list goes on and on, but is fine when is not Nintendo.

EVERY REMASTER HAS GOT PEOPLE Moaning and groaning about there being remasters , fans of the games and pro remaster people are happy about it but there are just as many Decriers , urghh and whats WORSE is thati frequent those big sites and the disdain and love for remasters are on both these communities its not a just Nintendo thing

Your recollection seems to be off.  That's not even close to being where the complaining started.  Not by a long shot.  The noise started last gen with releases like the Metal Gear Solid Collection, The Silent Hill Collection, and the God of War Collection.  Sony began a "Classics HD" line, which some people seemed to have a problem with.  Then they announced a "PSP Remaster" series for the Vita and the criticism ramped up even more.  

If there was any hate for WWHD, besides from Nintendo fans themselves, then it was mostly retaliatory.

So TLOU , Saint's Row 4 , DmC : Definitive Edition, Handsome Collection , Tomb Raider and many more didn't have Naysayers and people compalining about remasters, nope no one complained about these games and more games just ninty games 

2 other consoles get much more games and variety than ninty consoles ths gen that appeals to the masses , leading to more frustation due to less options availabe despite being out longer
