Actually incorrect. When they were bringing out Wind Waker HD, people cried omg nintendo rehash,remaking the same games!

Then suddenly when third parties start re-releasing the same games over and over for XB1/PS4, it became justified.

Your recollection seems to be off.  That's not even close to being where the complaining started.  Not by a long shot.  The noise started last gen with releases like the Metal Gear Solid Collection, The Silent Hill Collection, and the God of War Collection.  Sony began a "Classics HD" line, which some people seemed to have a problem with.  Then they announced a "PSP Remaster" series for the Vita and the criticism ramped up even more.  

If there was any hate for WWHD, besides from Nintendo fans themselves, then it was mostly retaliatory.
