Forums - Nintendo - 2016: Potentially Be The Year of Pokemon? No Seriously... It Just Might Be!

The initial version of tekken 7 is already due out February 18 2015 so I expect a console port of Pokken could make it out very late 2015.

OT I can defiantly see 2016 being a year of Pokémon with the 20th anniversary and all. I think well get a new mainline handheld game with a console companion game like stadium/coliseum/XD/battle revolution. I can also see more spin off games for both handhelds and home consoles like mystery dungeon, conquest, rumble etc.

If it's Pokemon's 20th anniversary I think a new Pokemon gen is definitely possible next year. Imo they should go all out and release it on both 3DS and Wii U, but it's Nintendo, so they probably won't : (

Its gamefreak, i dont think nintendo really makes the decisions there... (i think)

♥Most important.... Pokemon's 20 year anniversary (dunno wat they would do) New Game? Collection? Etc? Maybe Pokemon Remake on WiiU of 1st Gen+2nd???

Please yes! I'd really like that home console Pokémon Adventure. Just going through my Pokédex on N64 was a blast x}

There's never going to be another Stadium-type game. The main Pokemon games being in 3D eliminates the need for it, and Pokken has pretty much taken their spot. It's pretty clear that Pokken will become an ongoing series from now on.
