Series =/= franchise

I think 1 game can count as a franchise, definitely if there are other things related to the game (like character models)

Cool list, Final fantasy on top. A few years ago i would have put FF in my top 3 but since FFXIII i feel the series has regressed, anyway heres hoping that FFV turns out to be as good as it looks.
