If you have access to the debug menu to make sure you actually get to the minigames on a consistent basis, then sure, it could be kinda fun instead of laughably slow and boring. That's right I'm never gonna let them live that treehouse demonstration down!

I doubt it, since Mario Party 8 and 9 could've been online since they were on Wii, but they weren't.

Just because you haven't been paying attention to the game doesn't mean everyone else wasn't! We recently saw the main menu which had 3 main modes, two of which we've already known to be pure garbage since E3.
