I agree the article is obviously clickbait.

But, M$ is now getting 70% of the income from Sony's top selling product.  So, they basically get $3 or every $1 dolar Sony gets.  in most cases, the gamer that plans to spend that money was going to buy some game.  Now, instead of it going to a first or 2nd party studio, it goes directly to M$.  In any case Sony was getting that $1, now M$ gets $3.

Of course, it cost M$ an arm and a leg to get it though...  or i guess pocket change for them.

an IP now owned by Microsoft, and was available first on Microsoft (in relation to Sony)....sells better on Microsoft platforms? This is revolutionary. It's so mind-boggling, I can't even comprehend it. What does this mean for the future of gaming?

I still have yet to try it. Looked like it was pretty much all building things. I'm not creative at all, which is my main reason for not trying it.
