I think Mario Maker is going to release in May as well. $250 Mario Maker bundle with Splatoon releasing either the same day or a few weeks later to maintain momentum.

...You clearly don't get what the demo is for. It's not to "hype" Zelda; it's to sell Splatoon. And the idea is absolutely brilliant, because it would work.

Wii U's price drop will happen in 2015, regardless of whether there is a Splatoon bundle or not.

Honestly, I think there is more likely to be a Zelda bundle, as it's obviously going to be the most hotly anticipated title of the year for the console.

I actually think the price cut will happen first, probably in March or early April. The only reason they've ridden the $300 price is because they want to get max profits to show the shareholders so that they don't get their panties in a twist. After they've satisfied them, I expect a price cut. So not long before or after the end of their fiscal year, I expect a $250 price. As for a Splatoon bundle, I think that will happen. For one, they really want to push the game. Second, it will help them get through the slow summer period. I also think a Smash bundle will happen in the first half to help sweeten the deal in general, perhaps in tandem with the price cut.

Damn that's diabolical but it just might work. They should make the demo free for on eshop come October though. 

Great ideia, but instead of Zelda, I would put Starfox since it's closer to release.

Nintendo tends to be moving away from bundling brand new games, especially big gun ones.

You may be more likely to see a Smash bundle in May for $249.99 now that Smash has sold its initial run.

The Zelda demo with Splatoon would be a smart idea though.

Maybe but there wasn't a Smash Wii U bundle. They will probably make a Smash bundle, and also give it a price cut to $249 soon.
