Nintendo: They rely far too much on their flagship IP's for my liking. I understand that they are popular and that's why they are flagships but I get bored of the same characters. Produce some new IP's please. If not, at least being some variety with older IP's.

Considering they are bringing back Yoshi & Star Fox while creating X (fairly new) & Splatoon, they seem to be getting better

Sony: I'm new to them so I have nothing to complain about for now. If I had to pick, more local play games would be nice.

Ye exactly what I mean. I was at psx event and got trolled like everybody else but seeing that guy smile while trolling us is one the worst thing I have experienced in gaming industry. 

Nintendo needs to realize that region-locking doesn't benefit anyone at all and they should remove it from any of their future systems. It's already hard enough to get a foreign game.

I'm fine with the games they are releasing and are involved in, but I wish they would unify their accounts so it is not forcing to purchase a game on another system. 

Nintendo it's a bad company in general. Such a shame their games (and even home consoles [Wii U]) are awesome.

I have two.

I wish Sony wouldn't be so quick to give up on their first party IPs that aren't mega popular. Where's The Legend of Dragoon 2? Where's Folklore 2? Where's Dark Cloud 3? Where's Shadow of the Colossus 2? And more! C'mon Sony, people want these games.

Also with their handhelds, it blows my mind on why they continue to use proprietary memory. The memory stick duo with the psp and the dreaded vita memory cards. Both ridiculously expensive to the point that it's insulting, especially the vita cards.

For real. Like Fatal Frame, it's good for Nintendo that they have an IP like that. It diversifies their library more, but outside of Japan it's so sad to see they haven't done anything with it. Especially with all the fan outcry for localizations.

This. They don't seem to realize that they need it more for image than for sales.

Oh, I thought it was deliberate, because surely Nintendo IS everyone's favourite console maker.

Sony: putting online play behind the PSN+ pay wall, making the DS4 with poor quality rubber on the analog stick, making an otherwise near perfect controller subject to unacceptable levels of wear and tear. Controller battery life is a tad too short, but it's not terribly frustrating as I have a long cord that will easily allow me to play and charge. Running TV and mobile into the ground such that those 2 divisions, by themselves, have put Sony at risk of bankruptcy.  Giving inSomniac a bit of a cold shoulder, thus gifting Sunset Overdrive as an exclusive to MS. Insomniac has given Sony great service for 2 generations and they deserved some better consideration from Sony.

Edit. Also no CD playback on PS4, no DLNA streaming to the PS4. I used both of these features on PS3 and I do not understand why these features are not in PS4. It's very annoying because it measns I have to keep my PS3 plugged into the same TV as my PS4, which was not the plan.
