Forums - Nintendo - Did you order more than 2 Zelda: MM New 3DS? Gamestop gonna cancel your order!

That's fucking bullshit. Even if they're scalping them Gamestop has no right to deny them it. That's how capitalism works, deal with it.

Good cause this way, more families can get them! Heck, even 2 per household is too much, make it one!

Or maybe you should deal with not being able to scalp these limited editions? ;)

I don't see how this is bullshit, who needs more than two?

While I disagree that morally it's fucked it.... I agree that if you can afford it... Then you have a right to buy as many as you wish.... Capitalism at it's finest!

And btw shoe stores do this for Air Jordan sneaker releases too. They generally only allow a customer to buy 2 or some instances ONLY ONE PAIR of Jordan's when a Retro release is scheduled.... Technically I understand why they do this though... everyone should have access to them at a reasonable price.

Some stores even go so far to do a RAFFLE and they will call you if you won the raffle to purchase your sneakers in the size you wanted (Jordan's sell like crazy meng)!!

Capitalism also allows the seller to decide how to go about selling their merchandise, so GS is in the complete right and legality to do so.

^^^ Indeed. These limits also happen all the time especially during sales or releases the store might limit you to only buying 3 copies of a game/console.

Good for them! It should really only be one unit per customer.

Property rights says that gamestop has every right to do whatever they please. Gamestop could buy them all from Nintendo and horde them for no reason, give them away for free, decide they would only sell them to somebody who could buy all of them at once, or certainly choose to limit one per customer. Only the latter of those tends to be both customer-friendly and business-sensible.

Deal with that.
